Dr. Pedro J. Cuartas

Founder, Director of Operations

Dr. Pedro J. Cuartas is a native of New Orleans and now lives in Houma, Louisiana. He is a first generation American as his parents are from Colombia. He is bilingual, fluent in Spanish. Dr. Cuartas is married to his beautiful wife, Denise, for 23 years. They have a son, Rafael, who is 16 years old and is very active in track and basketball.

Dr. Cuartas graduated LSU Dental School in 2000. He began his journey with Dental Sleep Medicine in 2007. He has first-hand experience with all the typical pitfalls and challenges in that field that deter most dentists. However, he was able to overcome them and is now running a very successful Dental Sleep Medicine practice full time while his dental partner and associate continue with the General Dental Practice.

His passion for Dental Sleep Medicine does not stop in the clinic. Since 2017, he has been teaching others how to avoid those pitfalls in Dental Sleep Medicine and how to flourish and prosper in that field. One of the offerings that make him unique, is his long-term Dental Sleep Mentorship Program that enables Dentists to not only have on going education for Dental Sleep Medicine, but to have an accessible partner in all facets of the Dental Sleep Medicine journey so they can begin with confidence and continuous support.

Dr. Cuartas’ mission is to help improve people’s health and quality of life by generating awareness on Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), getting more people screened and treated for OSA, working closely with all physicians, and having patients involved in their treatment for the best long-term outcomes. Dr. Cuartas has worked tirelessly to perfect the DSM-MD model and make it readily available to those who want to share in his mission.

Ramsey LeBlanc

Founder, Director of Sales & Marketing

With extensive expertise in key account management and sales strategy, Ramsey LeBlanc is dedicated to advancing innovative sleep solutions. His passion for enhancing patient care and customer service has shaped his approach to business development, helping to expand market reach and strengthen client relationships.

As a leader in sales and marketing, Ramsey specializes in connecting cutting-edge sleep technologies, including PSG and HST, with the needs of sleep physicians, hospitals, and dental sleep specialists. Through strategic planning, industry collaboration, and a commitment to excellence, he works closely with healthcare professionals to drive superior healthcare outcomes and set new standards in sleep medicine.

Tanya Macloud

Director of Client Relations and DSM Support.

Tanya joined Dr. Pedro J. Cuartas’ dental practice in 2013. She graduated from Central Lafourche High School where she continued to study General Business at Nicholls State University. Tanya has been in the Medical/Dental field for over 27 years where she has developed and expanded her professional skills with training courses and real world experience.

Tanya has been involved with the Dental Sleep Medicine Clinic for 12 years. She has been the clinic administrator overseeing Dr. Cuartas’ dental and dental sleep medicine practices since 2015 as well as helping him operate the Dental Sleep Mentorship training and consulting program.
